The Restaurant
The Restaurant at Meadowood offers a fine dining experience in the country where the best traditions of Napa Valley are wedded with a modern, enlightened approach to cuisine.
The Restaurant's exceptional wine list allows for wine pairings that truly complement the menu. Chef Joseph Humphrey employs well-grounded, classic techniques to the ingredients, but it is the ingredients that give Napa Valley cuisine its character. Whereas a winemaker looks for ripeness in the vineyard in order to express the sense of place, Chef Humphrey looks for foods that are expressions of the place and exhibit a sense of balance both in each dish and in it's relationship to wine.
A jacket for gentlemen is appropriate but not required. Preferably no blue jeans or sporting attire.
