Hotel Overview Built in 1907 by Italian stonemasons, Hotel La Rose is celebrating 100 years of hospitality and is the only Sonoma County hotel to be listed with the National Trust Historic Hotels of America.
We are located at the heart of Santa Rosa's Railroad Square and within an easy stroll of antique and specialty shops as well as a variety of restaurants.
Conveniences abound in all 47 guestrooms and include two-line telephones with voicemail, high speed Internet access and cable television. The Main Building's guestrooms are individually decorated in the style of a European bed and breakfast while the Carriage House guestrooms each have their own private patio or balcony.

Open for lunch and dinner, Josef’s serves true French Continental Cuisine in a European atmosphere enhanced by a glowing fireplace, orginal art and turn of the century architecture. Josef Keller, proprietor and chef, was born in Switzerland, attended chef apprenticeship and hotel business school there, and worked in fine hotels in Geneva, Zurich and Verbier winter resorts before moving to the United States.
