Cafe MoZU

Named after an ancient Chinese philosopher who expounded the principal of universal love, critically acclaimed Cafe MoZU, just off the main hotel lobby, is the hotel’s all day dining venue: an airy, sophisticated spot for a power breakfast, business lunch, or a relaxed dinner at sunset.

Lunch and dinner feature our Sushi Kitchen with our Master Sushi Chef Minoru Ogawa. The Sushi Kitchen features an assortment of Maki rolls, Nigri Sushi, Special plates including the delightful Sashimi. For lunch and dinner, a traditional Japanese Bento Box with an American twist.

Empress Lounge

A sunken enclave and an inviting escape from the city, Empress Lounge offers signature martinis, cocktails, wines, champagnes, sakes, cognacs and teas. A great place to people watch, listening to the refrains of a pianist or a jazz trio during weekend nights.

Grand Ballroom

The 8,300-square-foot, pillarless Grand Ballroom is rapidly becoming the meeting planners’ venue of choice in Washington, DC. It’s big enough to drive a car through (delivered, perhaps, on a barge via the nearby waterfront), and can be subdivided into three sections, or used in its entirety for a full scale conference for 900 or dinner for up to 750.
