The Handlery Hotels have adopted practices that promote reduction, reuse and recycling. Our green practices include: 100% post consumer recycled toilet paper and recycled facial tissue; compact fluorescent light fixtures in all guestrooms; green cleaning products and detergents; recycle toner cartridges from laser printers, electronics, light bulbs and batteries with certified recycling centers; an "in-house" recycling program for office paper; installed 1.6 gallon low flow toilets and low flow shower heads in all guestrooms; implemented bed linen/bath towel laundry conservation program where we only launder/change sheets at guest request and at check-out; and, replaced disposable cups with washable drinking glasses for employee lunchrooms. |
