Mandarin Lounge

• Hours: “Small Plates” dining: 11am-9pm; Mandarin Tea: 2:30pm-5:30pm

To the accompaniment of soft piano music, this is a popular venue throughout the day. Highlights include our exclusive Mandarin Tea in each afternoon, where a choice of sweets (Scones, Madeleines and an Assortment of Cookies) and tea selection are available.

In the evening, cocktails are the speciality along with a mouth watering array of “small plates” dining. Favourites include Panko Crusted Dungeness Crab Croquette or Hawaiian Big Eye Tuna Tartare. There’s no more inviting place to unwind after an exciting day in the city.

Silks

Located on the second floor, Silks inspires the senses by combining elements of Pacific Rim cuisine with West Coast signature dishes. The ambience is quite unique, and is influenced by the journey of Marco Polo to the court of Kublai Khan.

Interior designer Cheryl Rowley has created a look that evokes the great explorer’s odyssey and the discovery of silk, through wall treatments, floor coverings and hand-painted silk chandeliers. The Venetian adventurer’s journey to Cathay is celebrated in textures and artifacts, and in the colors themselves - cinnamon, nutmeg and persimmon.

Club Room

The Club Room is ideal for an informal gathering. It can accommodate up to 20 people for a banquet, and offers fine views of the outdoor arcade through its three large windows. First edition books are not exclusive to the Library, they also adorn the bookshelves throughout the Club Room, creating a studious but informal ambience.

Embassy Room

• Max Occupancy: 130

The Embassy Room can seat up to 100 people for a banquet. The interiors feature hand-painted panels, mirrors, antiqued gold leaf-finished light fixtures with alabaster diffusers and silk wall treatments. A Chinoiserie style buffet with hand-painted finish featuring oriental floral and street scenes adds a stylish dimension.

Library Room

• Square Footage: 1,100 sq. ft.
• Max Occupancy: 75

The Library Room can seat up to 75 people theater style or divide into two rooms. Its palate is rich and spicy with silk draperies, carved tables resembling tassels in a black and antique gold finish and a gold bronze ceiling accentuated with cove insets painted in a metallic antiqued bronze tortoise shell finish.

Boardroom

• Max Occupancy: 50

The Boardroom is located adjacent to the Library and can seat 36 people for a banquet or can accommodate 20 delegates for a meeting. This bright and airy room is a favorite amongst clients due to it's warm and light colored palates.
