The Hilton Milwaukee City Center is located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee and has long been known as the city’s finest hotel with a tradition of excellence going back more than 75 years. The hotel has undergone many changes over the years and has completed a multi-million dollar restoration, which highlights the hotel’s 1920’s grandeur and elegance. Guestrooms are beautifully appointed and feature up-to-the-minute amenities including dual line telephones with voice mail and data ports. Guests receive a complimentary USA today each weekday morning. The hotel features a 20 thousand square foot indoor water park- PARADISE LANDING-inside the hotel with a three story Jamaican Village, seven water slides, a 32-person hydrotherapy spa, water basketball and a lily pad walk. Our dining facilities reflect Milwaukee’s long tradition- The Café features International entrees and The Miller Time Pub, which highlights the city’s long brewing heritage. Our newest restaurant is the Milwaukee Chophouse known for it's tender steaks, mouthwatering lamb, fresh seafood, attentive service and extensive, affordable wine list. For business guests, the hotel offers a complete business center with computers, fax machines and photocopiers. The Hilton is across the street from The Midwest Express Center via a convenient indoor skywalk. The hotel is also a short walk to the Lakefront and Festival Grounds, Bradley Sports Complex- the Theatre District, and the famous Grand Avenue Mall with its collection of 170 shops in historic buildings. Built in 1927, the hotel opened as the hotel Schroeder. During prohibition, the hotel was a gathering spot for many speakeasy regulars. When prohibition ended, The Lorraine Bar featured the city’s longest bar, the 82 foot serpentine bar and served beers brewed locally, beers that have made Milwaukee famous Miller, Pabst, Gettelman and Schlitz.
