Be the captain of your own ship and rent a kayak to explore on your own. Kayak Connection has single, double and even triple sit-on-top kayaks to get you out onto the water. Paddling skills are briefly covered and all necessary equipment is provided. Beginners welcome! Rentals are available every day for up to 4 hours.
In the 1880s, narrow-gauge steam locomotives were used to haul giant redwood logs out of the mountains. A limited number of tours are offered each afternoon, and space is limited. Tours are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Sign-up begins one hour before tour time. Tours depart 1 PM, 2 PM, and 3 PM (last tour ends at 4 PM). Tour included with admission.
