The soft Karastan rug is silky beneath bare feet on 130 year-old oak floorboards.

Americana Room - Be a part of a one-of-a-kind adventure; sit on your red velvet sofa while the festooned ceiling catches your eye. Stars and stripes forever with standards waving in a frozen breeze, this is America right after the Civil War, circa 1869, Exceed your expectations, snuggle under the lofty down comforter, experience rare murals in a historic California mansion, the Starr Mansion B&B.

Starr Suite - Experience the views of Mare Island from the ornately carved King size four-posted bed in the large bedroom of the master suite or from the adjoining parlor. Relax in the parlor on the settee and read or watch TV, or a DVD or access the Internet from the computer. Both the bedroom and the parlor have views of the waterways and Mare Island.

Rose Room - Tuck your loved ones in the twin antique beds or share it with a friend or another loved one. This room is designed to accommodate travelers with a companion. It has a unique window that looks out to Mare Island and the waterway.

Lottie's Widows Walk - Step out on the balcony, look to the sea, will your love return? Alas, for Lottie Starr, spinster daughter of A.D. Starr and commercial artist, the answer was no. But today you can still enjoy the views she created, as you recline in her magnificent boudoir. The pale mint ceiling softly decorated in peach roses and lace garlands (circa 1869) entice you to stay cozy and enveloped in the silken comforter.

Sonoma Room - A very cute little room with private in-room bathroom decorated in original 50's retro tub and fixtures.. This room has its own private exterior entrance.
