January 1 thru June 16: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (grounds close at 5 p.m.)
June 17 thru September 4: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (grounds close at 9 p.m.)
September 5 thru December 7 & December 24, 25 and 31: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (grounds close at 5 p.m.)
December 8 thru December 30* 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (grounds close at 9 p.m.)

Parking: $9 per vehicle for nonmembers, $6 for members, $14 per RV for nonmembers, $11 for members.

Good for One Day Admission, Journey into Africa Tour, Conservation Carousel ride, all exhibits and shows. Parking not included.
Tickets purchased online are valid for one time entrance until March 31, 2009.

For less than the combined price of general admissions, the San Diego 3 for 1 is valid for unlimited entry for five days from first use to the San Diego Zoo, San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park and SeaWorld San Diego.

Parking not included in price of ticket.

Amateur photographers will have the opportunity to photograph our exotic wildlife such as rhinos, giraffes, and gazelles, at times just inches from your camera lens. Take the African Caravan and you may see the critically endangered Northern White Rhino, the Cape Buffalo and possibly get the opportunity to feed a giraffe! Or, enjoy the Asian Caravan and keep an eye out for Sika Deer, Blackbuck Antelope and the opportunity to possibly feed an Indian Rhino. Enjoy this incredible 1-3/4 hour animal experience all while being entertained and informed by your very own expert wildlife guide.

The Deluxe Photo Caravan takes you into both the African & Asian Field Exhibits. In the African Field Exhibit you may see the critically endangered Northern White Rhino, the Cape Buffalo and possibly get the opportunity to feed a giraffe! Enjoy the Asian Field Exhibit and keep an eye out for Sika Deer, Blackbuck Antelope and the opportunity to possibly feed an Indian Rhino! The Wild Animal Park has unleashed a new program unlike any other. Witness the world’s fastest land mammal do what it does best—run! Cheetah Run Safari takes small groups of spectators to a beautiful, rustic camp at the Wild Animal Park called Cheetah Outpost. From here you'll prepare to feel the wind whoosh by as the sleek African cat bolts past, mere feet away, after a mechanical lure.

The unique opportunity to witness a cheetah sprinting is available on weekends by reservations only to a limited number of guests. In addition to seeing the fastest land mammal running, the 1.5-hour experience includes up-close encounters with other African wildlife, light refreshments, and a 5x7 photo of our cheetah.

Nov. 10-Aug. 31, 2008: Saturdays & Sundays, 10:00 a.m.
