    January 1 thru June 16: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (grounds close at 5 p.m.)
    June 17 thru September 4: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (grounds close at 9 p.m.)
    September 5 thru December 7 & December 24, 25 and 31: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (grounds close at 5 p.m.)
    December 8 thru December 30* 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (grounds close at 9 p.m.)

    Parking: $9 per vehicle for nonmembers, $6 for members, $14 per RV for nonmembers, $11 for members.

Experience a unique adventure at the 2,100-acre San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park, where animals wander freely in surroundings much like their native homelands. A quiet railway, pathways and animal shows enable visitors to observe the animals and many species of exotic plants. Truly a zoo unlike traditional zoos.

The San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park is located approximately 30 miles northeast of the Zoo in the city of Escondido. Parking is not included in the price of the ticket.
