Muir Woods National Monument is a great destination to view ancient redwood trees (Sequoia Sempreverins) and the gorgeous coastal forests of Northern California. Follow a lovely creek through a cathedral of tall trees and lush landscape. We have extended our stay in the forest to a full 1 hour and 15 minutes, to allow you more time to enjoy this amazing California experience. Next we visit another California jewel, Sausalito. This Mediterranean-style village sits right on the San Francisco Bay, offering amazing panoramic views of San Francisco. Stroll along the bay or visit the great shops and art galleries before crossing the Golden Gate Bridge back into San Francisco.
