Visit Christ Church where George Washington worshiped and Old Town Alexandria which he considered his hometown!

This tour is the most comprehensive tour of George Washington's home available. It starts off with a riding tour of Old Town Alexandria, viewing the boyhood home of Robert E. Lee and George Washington's townhouse. Stop at Christ Church where the docent will fill you with facts about George Washington and Robert E. Lee's life within the church. Then travel to Mt. Vernon for a tour of "The Mansion" with time to explore more than a dozen outbuildings, the Colonial Revival Gardens, and the burial site of George and Martha Washington. Not to be missed are the new Donald W. Reynolds Museum and Education Center, the Ford Orientation Center and 23 galleries and theaters with over 500 original artifacts.
