Know Before You Go
We are currently under construction while we install a new roof over the Atrium and green our building. We're back to relatively normal operations, with the exception of Level 4 being closed until late spring 2026. The good news is that the basement is now open with a brand-new experience, Amazement in the Basement, so you still have four floors to explore.
Parking is available near the Museum just off Park Blvd. The Balboa Park Carousel and San Diego Zoo lot offer additional nearby parking. For easy access to Balboa Park’s center, park at Inspiration Point Lot and take the free tram.
