Hotel Overview Situated on 243 acres, 1,200 feet above the Pacific Ocean. The property is known for its serene setting, rustic yet luxurious sophistication and romantic allure. Features include 26 newly remodeled suites and 5 newly remodeled freestanding cottages, oversized rooms with wood burning fireplaces, private on deck hot tubs, and the famous Japanese Hot Baths open to moonlight and a spectacle of stars. Spa services are available daily either in-room or in the newly constructed Allegria Spa. Treatments include facials, aromatherapy wraps and subtle body work such as the craniosacral treatment, Jun Shin Jyutsu, and polarity.
Eastside of Highway One on a private road, 1,200 feet above sea level. 26 miles south of Carmel. Off of Highway One, you will see our sign on the East side. Follow the signs that direct you to the Inn.

Pools
Two outdoor pools at Ventana Inn & Spa offer idyllic settings for relaxation. Our famous clothing-optional pool is located on the west end of the property near the spa and reception area, it also has a clothing-optional sun deck. Our second pool is located at the upper end of the resort. Water temperature in both pools is kept at 80 degrees year round. Located next to each pool, are the Japanese hot baths, open daily and nightly to moonlight and a spectacle of stars.
