Planning a trip to the San Francisco Bay Area? Take BART (Bay
Area Rapid Transit) from SFO and arrive in downtown San Francisco
in 30 minutes. BART's round trip fare is half the cost of a round
trip shuttle and saves you even more compared to taxis and rental
cars. The $18 BART transfer is a round trip from SFO to San
Francisco plus one additional ride within the San Francisco city
limits. Taking BART is fast, inexpensive and better for the
environment too.
Most hotels are located within easy walking distance from one of
these stations: Civic Center, Powell, Montgomery and Embarcadero
(last San Francisco stop). These downtown stations also connect to
the Muni Transit system. The Moscone Convention Center Complex is
also a short walk from the Powell and Montgomery stations. BART
also goes to many East Bay and Peninsula cities and
attractions.
