The Ledge brings an exhilarating new experience to the Skydeck.
At 1,353 feet up, The Ledge’s glass boxes extend out 4.3 feet
from the skyscraper’s Skydeck on the 103rd floor, providing
never-before-seen views of the city. An unmatched view is not all
the Skydeck offers. From the moment visitors arrive they enjoy
interactive and educational attractions that not only highlight the
iconic landmark, but also celebrate Chicago’s sports,
architecture, pop-culture, history, food, music and people.

Skydeck’s Sights & Soul of Chicago museum-quality exhibit
that bring the skyline’s history to life. To get there,
you’ll ride on one of the fastest multi-media elevators in
the world! Our recent $4 million transformation gives you more to
see and do...
- Museum-quality exhibits. Now the view isn’t just out the
window. Visitors will see interactive, museum-quality exhibits on
the inside walls of the Skydeck paint Chicago’s past and
present. At every turn, your guests will see more of
Chicago’s history and historic characters.
- Multi-language interactive kiosks. Visitors can take a hands-on
trip on these state-of-the-art computer information terminals. Each
tap will guide them to a new place on a quick tour of Chicago's
landmarks. Now in 6 languages (English, French, German, Japanese,
Polish, Spanish).
- Knee-High Chicago. Big or little, every kid gets the best view
and overview of Chicago with this kid-level display that extends
all the way around the Skydeck. Cool cut-out windows put kids
eye-to-eye with Chicago history, sports and more.
- High-tech, high-powered telescopes. Everyone can see more of
Chicago in detail with these binoculars.
- Internationally friendly. We provide maps in 6 different
languages: Polish, French, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and English.
Our Skydeck InfoVision kiosks provide online information in 6
languages. At these kiosks, visitors can learn about all major
landmarks with a click of a button.
