Aquarium of the Bay is proudly celebrating its 30th Anniversary - honoring three decades of connecting our community to the beauty, wonder, and importance of San Francisco Bay. Be a part of the celebration and help support the next chapter of our mission.

San Francisco's only waterfront aquarium is conveniently located next to Pier 39. Walk through 300 ft. of crystal clear tunnels filled with sharks, rays and more than 20,000 other marine animals from the Bay and nearby waters - it's like skin diving without getting wet. Daily hands-on animal encounters, feedings, behind the scenes tours and more. Other special exhibits include the mesmerizing world of jellies, a grotto-like exhibit featuring Dungeness Crabs and a Deep Sea Isopod and an interactive climate change exhibit.

Open Daily: 10am - 5pm, last entry at 4:15pm

Early/Holiday Closures:
- November 26: 10am - 3pm (Last ticket sold at 2pm)
- December 24: 10am - 3pm (Last ticket sold at 2pm)
- December 25: Closed (Christmas Day)
