built in 1929- catering to well-to-do guests traveling between New
York and Arizona. The painter- Georgia OKeeffe- lived here for six
months during the 1940s- working in the only third story room. All
97 rooms are delightfully decorated with hand-carved furniture and
Mexican tiled bathrooms.
