Walt Disney Concert Hall Tour
One hour tour combining highlights of the magnificent architecture - soaring columns, cantilevered balconies, aerial pathway – along with an exploration of Walt Disney Concert Hall’s enchanting Urban Garden featuring 45 blooming trees, dozens of blooming plants and a 15-ton Delftware, rose shaped fountain – nearly an acre of breathtaking scenery. After the tour, your shopping begins in the LA Phil Store with your special 10% discount provided as part of your LA Tour package. LA Fashion District and Walt Disney Concert Hall are 1.3 miles apart. You may opt to walk between adventures. Bring your walking shoes because you will get some exercise. Transportation not included. If you prefer to drive, car parking is available at the Concert Hall and in the LA Fashion District in various parking lots. Additional options include public DASH shuttle or taxi. Tour not recommended for children under 14.

The journey back to the 11th century begins as visitors are greeted by King Alfonso and his daughter, Princess Esperanza. Dinner is served with savory garlic bread and a steaming hot vegetable soup ladled into pewter bowls: then come roasted chicken, spare rib, a seasoned potato and pastry of the Castle. Two rounds of beverages are included with the feast. While the sumptuous feast is being served, the legend of a kingdom threatened by treachery but intimately strengthened by courage unfolds in the Grand Ceremonial Arena.

An authentically replicated 18th-century Spanish galleon measuring 46 feet long, 18 feet wide with 40-foot masts is anchored in a 250,000-gallon indoor lagoon with night sky lighting. Surrounding the lagoon is a six-sided showroom of six additional “ships” where the audience is seated. Voyagers on each of the six “ships” have their own fearless pirate “mascot” whom they cheer on as the adventure unfolds with a cast of a dozen actors, singers and stunt performers engaging in a bounty of action-packed exploits, accompanied by cannon blasts, pyrotechnics and a liberal dose of wit and wizardry.

The Feast: Served during the show: fresh garden salad, roasted chicken and shrimp with lobster and scallops or seasoned beef, choice of red potatoes or West Indies yellow rice with Caribbean seasonings and steamed fresh vegetables. Warm apple cobbler and vanilla ice cream for dessert. Beer, wine and soft drinks are included.
