Sink back in time to the Prohibition-era where speakeasies conveyed the excitement of defying the law. Bar Drake, located inside the lobby of San Francisco's famous Sir Francis Drake Hotel off Union Square, transports guests back to this time and completes the experience with 1920s-inspired cocktails.
Bar Drake evokes the hotel's Prohibition-era history in its sleek d?cor. A dramatic antiqued-mirrored back bar is the focal point of the Bar Drake, arching up to the lofty lobby ceiling. An impressive display of scotch and American whiskies lines the back-lit shelves, with selections as old as 80 years on offer.
Master mixologist Jacques Bezuindenhout has created a cocktail list for the Bar Drake that complements its glamorous feel, showcasing many of the bar's fine whiskies. He has also updated some bar menu classics such as the Sazerac, Rob Roy and Manhattan.

A 1930's style glamorous nightclub is home to Harry Denton's Starlight Orchestra that performs a variety of musical styles from Swing to Motown, on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Located on the 21st floor, the Starlight Room features classic cocktail service, a light fare menu, and a 180-degree view of downtown San Francisco and beyond.
