Gaia Napa Valley- located east of Highway 29 in American Canyon- California- is a green hotel project developed by Wen-I Chang.

This term is widely used by new age ecologists as metaphor of organic earth. Originally designed by famed architect Mickey Muennig- the Gaia hotel is envisioned as a ultra-green hotel. Wen-I will use cutting-edge- environmentally friendly technology in both its construction and daily operations- such as solar power- water-saving techniques and certified wood harvested with the long-term health of forests in mind- the lagoon with an ecosystem of its own- etc. Gaia will also have aesthetic and philosophic components. Yuan Lee- one of the worlds most famous muralists- has been commissioned.
