The charming Hotel Mark Twain has been a San Francisco favorite since 1928. Located in the heart of downtown San Francisco, just three blocks from Union Square and the Moscone Convention Center, the Hotel Mark Twain is surrounded by world-renowned shops, theaters, galleries and restaurants.

This boutique hotel is dedicated to making you feel comfortable and cozy. Our guest rooms are good sized by boutique hotel standards, yet are still evocative of the era in which the Mark Twain was built. Each of our rooms offers windows with plantation shutters for privacy, with either one king, queen, or two double beds.

Fish & Farm Executive Chef Michael Morrison serves only extremely fresh local and organic produce that is sourced from within 100 miles of our front door. In addition we offer sustainable harvested seafood and only use meats, game, and poultry that are humanely raised, free of non-organic feeds, and that are raised naturally from sustainable farms.
