San Antonio Zoo is excited to announce our transition to a fully cashless payment system! This change is designed to make your visit smoother, faster, and more secure. From admissions to food and drinks, retail purchases, animal encounters, and more, all transactions will now require a credit card, debit card, or mobile payment option.

Going cashless is part of our commitment to improving your experience, helping nature-lovers of all ages spend less time in line and more time exploring the incredible wildlife from around the world.

No Card? No Problem!
We understand that not everyone may have a cashless payment option. That’s why we’re introducing cash-to-card kiosks throughout the zoo. These kiosks are conveniently located at Guest Services, Valerie Guenther’s Mariposa Market, Jambo Market, and Beastro Restaurant. These kiosks allow you to easily convert cash into a prepaid Mastercard at no additional charge. You can use the card throughout the zoo or anywhere Mastercard is accepted!
