    Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

    Experience the Adventure of riding the world’s largest rotating tramcars at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. Rising over two and one half miles to a scenic wonderland, the Tram’s two 80-passenger cars revolve slowly from within, providing a spectacular 360-degree view of the desert and surrounding area. Guests begin their adventure at the Tram’s Valley Station, at an elevation of 2,643 feet and travel through five unique life zones (comparable to a motor trip from the hot Sonoran Desert to the Alpine Wilderness), as they ascend to the Tram’s Mountain Station.

    The Mountain Station is located at an elevation of 8,516 feet and sits within the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto National Monument Area. The Mountain Station features spectacular viewpoints, the Peak’s upscale restaurant, Pines casual cafe, Lookout Lounge, gift shop, natural history museum and a theatre showing “Building on a Dream” the history and construction of the Tramway. Just outside the Mountain Station are some 54 miles of hiking trails, primitive campgrounds, a ranger station and the Winter Adventure Center with cross-country ski and snowshoe tube equipment rentals (snow conditions permitting).

    The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is located just minutes from downtown Palm Springs and just a two-hour drive from Los Angeles or San Diego.

      Not really, of course! This ride is a small “taste” of OC that takes you from the Atlantic Executive Terminal to the OC Coast and back. It’s a short smooth jaunt that’s sure to “wet” your appetite for more!

      Please note:
      • Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance. All parties flying must sign waiver. Current photo ID is required to fly.
      • We currently fly several different types of Aircraft, seating from 3-4 passengers. A minimum of passengers needed to fly on Helicopters. If your party is less than the minimum people you will probably fly with other people.
      • 225 lb maximum weight limit per person / 600 lb combined total for all passengers for weight/ balance & safety on smaller aircraft. 300 lb per person maximum weight limit on larger aircraft. The combined total weight for all 4 passengers must not exceed 1000lbs. Please call for additional pricing if customer exceeds individual maximum weight limit.
      • Must be 3yrs or older to fly. Passengers under 18 yrs must be accompanied by parent or guardian, unless PRIOR approval is obtained.
      • Aircraft subject to change
      • Flights may be rescheduled and/or rerouted in the event of unsafe weather conditions.

      The Newport Beach Tour takes you over the, OC County Fairgrounds to Newport Back Bay, UC Irvine, San Joaquin Hills, Fashion Island, China Cove Beach, Pirate's Cove Beach, Corona del Mar Beach, Balboa Peninsula, The Wedge, US Coast Guard Station, Little Balboa Island, Balboa Island, Collins Island, Peninsula Park, Balboa Pier, Balboa Pavilion, Balboa Island Ferry, Bay Island, Harbor Island, Linda Island, Bay Shores, Lido Isle, Newport Pier and the River Jetties.
