Welcome to San Francisco's popular new destination – The Walt Disney Family Museum - celebrating the life and legacy of a remarkable man. Located in the Presidio of San Francisco, the Museum welcomes visitors to a historic building that reveals 40,000 square feet of imagination. Contemporary interactive galleries and state-of-the-art exhibits are narrated in Walt’s own voice, as he shares his successes as well as his failures. Discover early drawings, cartoons, movies, music, listening stations, more than 200 video screens, and a 14-foot model of Disneyland. Founded by the Walt Disney Family Foundation
The museum’s current operating hours are Thursday through Sunday from 10am to 5pm, with last gallery entry at 4pm. The museum is closed Monday through Wednesday.
The museum will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day.
